Drawing from the Austin psych scene, and the grit of outlaw country, the four-piece band builds songs that shimmer, sway, and sneak up on you. Reverb-soaked guitar stretches into hypnotic grooves, while melodies, driven by a voice reminiscent of Jim Morrison's melancholy and Captain Beefheart's most coherent growls, keeps everything grounded and human.
